Cat & Mark: Outdoor Tented ROMANTIC Summer Wedding (Meadow Muse Pavilion, Calgary, AB)

A warm and sunny summer day was the perfect setting for Cat & Mark's romantic outdoor summer wedding. Bringing together guests from across Canada, and all the way from Australia, they dreamed of a simple, elegant and (above all) memorable wedding day to share with their family, friends and newborn twin boys ... and that's exactly the kind of celebration we were able to create for this beautiful couple!

After a fun morning getting ready with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, the couple decided to forgo the ever-popular 'first look' and opted instead for the groom to see the bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle. And the awed look on his face when he first saw her truly was worth it. And while Cat's father couldn't make the long flight all the way from Australia, her two brothers stepped in to ensure she had all the love and support around her on such an important day.

Love was truly infused throughout their entire magical day, along with a whole lot of fun, and guests who really knew how to celebrate (and make it a party)! After the elegant and minimalist outdoor ceremony, the party moved into the Meadow Muse Pavilion tent just on the outskirts of Fish Creek Park. We decorated with simple elements that worked seamlessly with the black, white and blush theme. A single white pedestal vase with absolutely stunning blush & white florals adorned each round table, along with gold chargers, black napkins and custom-printed menus at each place setting.

During dinner, we made sure to schedule a 20-minute break for the couple to get outside and take some private golden hour photos in the natural beauty of the park. But the highlight of the evening was the moving (and often hilarious) speeches from their nearest and dearest, followed but a dance floor that kept going well into the night! These two were so lovely to work with and it was an honour to be a part of their truly special day.
